As lead guide/instructor for Sylvestre Outdoors, LLC Captain George Sylvestre operates this small family business with the help of his wife and three sons. Together they provide clients with fly casting instruction, guided fly fishing trips (both fresh and saltwater), and fly fishing educational seminars from Cape Cod, MA to the Berkshires and across Connecticut.
Captain Sylvestre is a fly fishing guide, educator, and author. He regularly contributes articles to magazines including On the Fly, On the Water, and Tail Magazine. He leads the Cape Cod chapter of Project Healing Waters (PHW) Fly Fishing and is the PHW Deputy New England Regional Coordinator for Casting and Education. He serves on the Board of Directors for Cape Cod Trout Unlimited and the leads the development of educational programs for Fly Fishers International (FFI).
George Sylvestre owns and operates this guided fly fishing and instruction company with his sons, making a living out of his passion. Being able to teach others about his passion is exhilarating and keeps him striving for the best quality experience for all guests.

We can provide rods, reels, lines, flies, etc. though our clients are encouraged to bring their own if they would like

- Validate fishing license
Freshwater trips are subject to river conditions and saltwater wading trips are tide dependent. Your guide is responsible for your fishing experience so times and locations may be adjusted slightly based on conditions and weather.
Sylvestre Outdoors, LLC encourages catch and release fishing
DEPOSIT: A 25% deposit is required to reserve your booking
BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either credit, cash, or Venmo
CLIENT CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 7 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged but dependent on guide availability.
GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit..
